Each year doctors, nurses and other volunteers arrive at AIM’s medical clinic to provide medical and dental care for pastors, their families, and orphans. For many of the patients, this is the only medical or dental care that they have access to. In the event that the volunteers are not professionally qualified, those who are qualified provide on the job training in dental hygiene, triage, pharmacology, or whatever tasks need to be performed. Medical and dental care is limited by the supplies and expertise available. Our medical teams work from sunrise to sunset. While their work is both physically and emotionally draining, it is very rewarding. Consider going on a short term medical mission trip through AIM or supporting a volunteer who is willing to go.
