Who We Are

Our mission is to raise heroes of faith who provide hope to hurting communities with the gospel. We equip national leaders around the world to spread the gospel through missions training, church planting, and community transformation projects. AIM primarily works in regions where Christ’s name is least heard. You help us give lost communities a chance to hear the gospel.

Where it Began

Since 1965, AIM has worked in some of the most dangerous & unreached nations. Our founders, Dr. Cherian & Grace Mathews, left everything behind to minister to a region of 0.05% Christians, where they were ostracized and experienced great loss. This leap of faith and sacrifice led to the birth of Alpha International Ministries.

Where We Work

We serve local pastors in nine nations across Asia, including the Philippines, Thailand, and Cambodia, as well as in countries such as Cuba, Ecuador, Peru, and Tanzania. Our goal is to strengthen and encourage these leaders so they can more effectively share the Gospel and disciple their communities. In addition, we partner in other nations that we do not publicly name for security reasons, ensuring pastors there also receive training and support. Through these efforts, we are helping to equip a global network of faithful leaders who are impacting lives for Christ.
