Rachen likes to go by Chevit. He is a shy child. He likes to play in the forest and catch insects in his free time. At home, he helps with housework such as washing the dishes. He regularly goes to church with his parents. His family is from the Karen tribe who live in the mountains in a small house not far from the local church. His mom and dad are daily workers. Most of the people on the mountain have land for farming but Chevit’s family does not have land for farming and must therefore be hired daily. There may be no work on some days. Thank you for reading Chevit’s story.
