Pitha and his family are refugees from Myanmar. His father uses drugs, so his mother and father live separately. Pitha lives with his older sister and mother. Because of Pitha's father's drug use, they have no savings. His mother is the main person bringing in an income and taking care of the children. But his father continues to promise to send Pitha to school. Pitha wants to receive a scholarship so that he can receive a good education. Pitha is an active child. He likes to dance and draw. He is funny and always makes people laugh. He likes to make people around him happy, but he is a very sensitive person. Pitha has been living in Thailand for over a year, but he is still unable to communicate in Thai. If he receives a sponsorship, he will be able to study at a Thai school beginning at a 1st grade level to learn the Thai language. When he grows up, he wants to be a police officer so he can protect his family because he likes helping others.
