Santiago and his family lives in a small room. There are eleven people in a very small place that is not in good conditions. He is the 7th of nine siblings. His parents do not have jobs. Sometimes his father finds work as a daily laborer, but not to often. Santiago loves to play soccer in the school and after school. He is always trying to help around his home and says he loves to take naps in his hammock.

Children from these hard-pressed communities are then nominated for sponsorship through our Giving Children Hope (GCH) Program. Each child is paired with one sponsor.
